Interesting new research published in 'Brain' suggests a common neuroanatomical basis for neurogenic and developmental stuttering in a network centred around the left putamen region. Just wanted to share. Link to the article: [https://academic.oup.com/brain/advance-article/doi/10.1093/brain/awae059/7667029?login=false](https://academic.oup.com/brain/advance-article/doi/10.1093/brain/awae059/7667029?login=false) It's great to see that research is continuing at a high level, although I have to say that the brain regions identified here have long been associated with stuttering, but it's interesting to see that both forms of stuttering point to the same networks.
