I attend NSA meetings in Pittsburgh. I highly recommend it! It's shown me that there are other people out there dealing with the same things that I am. Let me know if you have any questions about it. I think you are on the right track. I often struggle with acceptance too, but it helps when there are people you can talk to about it.
