My mom told me that I used to bang my head on the wall when I was 3-4 and got caught up on words. Just out of the frustration of not being able to form the words I was thinking. I took speech classes from 1st grade to 7th grade and got to a point where my fluency was consistent. In high school, when we read plays out loud, I would have days where I could read long passages without a single issue but other days I was getting caught up on every sentence. My stutter has always been really closely linked with my mental health/mood. It'll get better and worse, but it honestly really helps to accept that it's just a part of how you speak. My dad also has a stutter, and he almost acts like it doesn't exist. If he gets stuck, he just powers through it and keeps it moving. Some people just stutter, and it's okay. Try not to get too caught up in it, and hopefully it'll get back to where you're comfortable. Good luck with everything!
