For the past 3 years I cannot say "Thanks. You too" when someone says "Have a nice day" or anything nice to me. I try it and out comes a really long Youuuuuu since I'm blocked on the Too. So I go around saying "Thanks, you as well" like a smug SOB. Girlfriend thinks it's hilarious and I hate it. It's been like this for 3 years. I found out that I can say "You too, thanks!" much easier. But I have a habit of saying Thanks first.
