We’ve all been there. Hell, this week has been shit for me when it comes to my stutter. I’m 37 and still deal with stress and anxiety over this. But it has gotten a lot easier to accept and manage with time. When I was 18 I was in a similar state. Don’t let anyone here tell you you’re wrong for these feelings. We all handle this differently, and there’s a huge mental health aspect that is incredibly difficult to deal with because of stuttering. If I can give you one piece of advice it’s to find your community. I didn’t find mine til second semester of my freshman year of college. But those people helped me to grow in ways I never thought possible with a stutter. And they continue to do so almost 20 years later.
