I didn’t intend for that to come across as universally inclusive to all stutterers, or this example of a comment which some could perceive as positive. I intended it to convey the idea that it is okay to appreciate any event or comment which we personally find positive. It’s too easy to paint everything related to our stutters as negative, and in doing so, we might not even recognize that something which is associated was actually positive.
