stuttering and excessive daydreaming Good day. I am left-handed, stutter and have excessive daydreams. the first does not matter (it is only an indication that the right hemisphere of my brain is the dominant one). my doubt falls into excessive daydreaming. I stutter and daydream for as long as I can remember. as a child he had a blocked stutter. I went to speech therapy since childhood and it has helped me a lot. reduced my stutter quite a bit. I went back in my teens but I stopped going because the specialist considered that I supposedly had nothing. I still "stutter" sometimes. my doubt comes from daydreaming. Ever since I learned about the theory of dopamine and stuttering from Dr Gerard Maguire (a specialist my speech pathologist appointed me) I have been thinking that my excessive daydreaming is the cause of my stuttering, because it generates an excess of abnormal dopamine. what do you think? Do you recommend I go to a psychiatrist to give me a medication for my excessive daydreaming? And for stuttering? sorry for the bad english, i'm using a translator
