I just landed my first real job after doing my thesis (the thesis is still ongoing, but I landed it even though). I started out disclosing about my stutter, and that it sometimes takes me a bit longer to pronounce stuff. However, I've also begun taking betablockers, more precisely alprazolam, which I find helps me in a day to day basis with handling my stutter. My problem is more the anxiety that accompanies the stuttering, and I've found, that alprazolam keeps me focused on maintaining and controlling my stutter. I usually take 1mg in the morning, however before the interview i took 2 mg. It worked wonders, and I had a pleasant interview, controlled my stutter and eventually landed the job. It is a prescription drug where I'm located (Denmark), so maybe you will need to contact your MP about it.
