Stuttering slowly picks up in school days till 17 ,gradually rises and stay in the peak level in the important years of college & initial years of job career approximately from age 19 to 27. Then it takes a downward trend and gradually decreases and decrease till 40. After 40, it takes a flat curve of less impact (7 to 10% stuttering) is common till the end of the life. This is how life is for 95% of stutterers goes on. It's frustrating to live a low profile but only choice left for us is to groom the future generation,I mean your kids to succeed better than others & they will do it definitely after seeing you living a life with less potential than your brilliance.
