Sometimes I will get down in the dumps about my fluency after a bad day. I like to remind myself of people like Moses and Paul who had disabilities and were still used by and obviously seen as valuable to God. Moses in Exodus 4 pleads with God and uses the excuse that he is slow of speech and not eloquent as to argue that he is not the man for the job. I could see myself doing the same in his situation. Working on improving here, but I do similar quite often making my lack of fluency an excuse to why I “can’t” do certain things. Paul in 2 Corinthians 12 talks about his “thorn in the flesh”. Some believe he also had a speech disability (I like to think so).
