I somehow tend to agree with you. It's like saying that a certain phobia is physiological. If someone have a serious 'pizza eating' phobia (for example), they can in fact digest and chew pizza, but if they will try to they most probably will choke, maybe even have diarrhea. Yet it's psycholgcal in those cases. Why wouldn't it be here too?
