Any people working in tech? I'm trying to land my first role as a Software Engineer. I feel like my moderate-to-severe stuttering has been holding me back in interviews. Are there any Software Engineers here? How did you navigate interviews? I've been either disclosing my stutter at the beginning of the interview, or I email them beforehand and let them know that I stutter, but that feels like it's broadcasting insecurity, which is obviously not how you land a job. Does anyone have any advice? I'm just feeling so exhausted and overwhelmed. I've put out about 600 applications and had 5 interviews. It's rough out there, folks. Update: I just got invited to round 2 on-site. I had to call them for the initial interview and stuttered SO BAD. I thought I blew it. Hyped!
