I agree 100%. Stuttering sucks, but unless your career path is heavily speech-oriented, having a stutter won't impact job prospects in any significant way. I'm a PhD student and one of my professors stutters. A job where you have no choice but to speak for many hours a day, four to five times a week, and I'm considering being one too. Before, I had a decently paying software engineering job, barely needed to talk to anyone except during morning standup meetings. Unless OP is trying to be a politician or motivational speaker or something like that involving a ton of public speaking, stuttering isn't going to cause your classmates to move higher than you. That's way more personality. I understand being frustrated about stuttering but I think OP might need someone (preferably licenced) to talk to about their issues outside of stuttering. OP seems angry, rightfully so, but may be misplaced anger.
