I’m 16 and I’ve never stuttered before in my life. Over the past two months, a waver in my voice turned into occasional stuttering and then into stuttering every single sentence. I have no idea why and I don’t know what to do. Is this something that can happen? Is this ok?

I’m 16 and I’ve never stuttered before in my life. Over the past two months, a waver in my voice turned into occasional stuttering and then into stuttering every single sentence. I have no idea why and I don’t know what to do. Is this something that can happen? Is this ok? I hope I haven’t said anything offensive, I just genuinely don’t know much about stuttering and what’s happening to me. Any advice is really appreciated. I’m stuttering on specific letters and words and have occasionally just been completely unable to talk because I get stuck on something like a “j”. I read that stuttering is almost always present from a young age, so I have no idea why this is happening to me. I’ve started to talk way less because it takes so much more time and effort to say anything. It’s mentally tiring. Once again, I really don’t mean to come off as ignorant or rude, I just don’t know what’s going on.
