I am studying to be a speech therapist. Life changes, such as university, can trigger an uptick in stuttering. And when you get anxious about stuttering, it tends to make you stutter more. It is a cycle. Usually when you stutter, you go to speech therapy on/off for "tune ups" whenever it gets bad again. Speech therapy to learn techniques to more "fluently stutter" is a great place to start.
