You don’t need to make it your identity in order to accept it. Acceptance doesn’t have to mean you stop working on your stutter either. You’ve had a bad week, how were the other weeks since you’ve been trying new methods? If there was some improvement and it’s getting a bit worse now, the bad period could be temporary. Its lots of trial and error finding what works. When things don’t work we need to just let it roll off of our backs and try something else. In the meantime don’t let the stutter keep you from doing things you want to do.
