I have found it hard to even talk about it with my own parents. They are very supportive and I feel super comfortable with my parents but I have always been embarrassed of my stutter so I never opened up to them until recently.(I’m 26) I still haven’t even told my own friends I have a stutter, you see my stutter only consists of blocks with certain words so I have a way of getting my message out by replacing words. There are times where I do the facial expressions and get really stuck, but for the most part I feel like I could manage it to an extent. But lately Iv been blocking with so many words so it’s been difficult.
