I felt my stutter became worse. The speech therapists always treated me me like I was stupid and only made me read. The problem was never the speaking, but more what stuttering did to my self esteem and how I was being bullied in the classroom. What I needed from them, which was someone to speak freely about my struggles and seek guidance, I never got. This is why I plan to become one myself so I can become the big brother character for the stuttering kids. What I needed was someone to relate to. I hope to provide that.
