I try to adopt the same attitude because it helps you in the long run while avoiding speaking doesn't. I'm yet to try recording parts of presentations in advance because that's when stuttering is a real issue for both presenter and the audience. With only limited amount of time/attention it is very difficult to explain complex topics as it is and stuttering keeps breaking my own train of thought, I can only imagine that others can't follow it as easily.
