Maybe your stutter is a lot worse than mine, but I’ve never really had any issues with jobs because of it. I used to go for jobs that don’t really require speaking when I was younger (painter, various hotel and kitchen jobs, etc). Now my career requires me to speak in front of clients, present work (often scripts that rely on delivery to sell). I don’t say this to show off, but to give you a bit of hope. There are jobs/work environments out there that are considerate to your issue, you just have to keep looking. Out of interest, what sort of jobs are you trying to get? The other bit of advice I’d give is to be super up front about it. Explain you have a stutter, explain that sometimes it can take you a while to say things or get a sentence out clearly. Sometimes people don’t understand what the issue is and might mistake it for something that would affect your ability to work more drastically. Good luck man, things will work out.
