Severe Stuttering is a Disability - A Call to an Action
Content
Severe Stuttering is a Disability - A Call to an Action Severe stuttering is a legitimate disability and should be regarded as such. A severe stutterer, after completing at least one round of speech-language therapy, if there is no significant decrease in his/her stuttering, should be regarded as disabled and get disability benefits easily! We shouldn't have to mask it, we shouldn't have to 'force' ourselves in the price of being mocked, and we shouldn't have to take this heavy toll for a thing we are not in control of. Hear us, hear our stammering voices.
