Some advice I can remember is mostly tied to interview and presentation prep, because this is when I found a speech therapist: 1.Breathing exercises 2. Relaxing - remembering that I'm only human like everyone else and we all have flaws 3. Recognizing that some people will not care about my stutter, and the few who do have no input on my abilities at my job (or in life, in general) 4. Tongue exercises - some look like the silly exercises actors do to prep for theater work. Another exercise is rolling the tongue from the top of the teeth, all the way back to the roof of the mouth. I did the exercises for a while and slowly stopped because I got exhausted. But the things that improved my stammer are number 2 & 3.
