Told my friend about my stutter

Told my friend about my stutter He had no idea I even had a stutter. He’s very supportive and one of the first people to know, but idk if I’m gonna regret it. I did it because there were a lot of instances that I thought made me look inept so just wanted him to know I can’t control when I don’t wanna talk on the walkie at work and other things like that. After I tell someone my mind starts to spiral in regret but I also did it in hopes of motivating me to get help. Hopefully I go that route and not spiral more.
