YES I do this! Instead of vocalizing my stutter I just wait until I can say the word and I didn't know others did this! I always try and cover it up and say stuff like "hmm what's the word...." or use a bunch of "likes" when really I know exactly what I want to say and I would have said it much eloquently if I could (well I can, I'm just scared to show it to anyone)
