Is it worth starting a YT channel?

Is it worth starting a YT channel? I've been wondering about starting a YT channel, playing SWTOR and other titles. If I don't talk, I probably won't grow as a channel. So, is it worth it? Also I don't need a pity party from subscribers. Thanks.
