For the genetics part, it’s not a guaranteed thing than he’ll get a stutter too. Out of me and my siblings, I’m the only one to get it passed down from my grandfather. My cousins from the same side of the family don’t have a speech impediment or stutter as well. So it’s quite unlikely.
