Hey, it went really well. They were a great interview and while they did occasionally stutter it certainly didn't affect their demeanor or mask their knowledge or etc. We took the general advice and did not interrupt or finish sentences and apparently that was appreciated. At the end of the interview they let us know how their stutter was not due to anxiety about the interview and that it was not related to our interview style etc but something that is a part of them and their identity. They were a very close second for the placement and we ended up going with a candidate with more experience in the role. But their CV is on file and we will bring them in if another position opens up and they are available. We gave them good feedback and tips for future interviews and I would be surprised if they will be looking for a job long. I appreciate this subs help and advice.
