Personally one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned from having a stutter is to have patience and compassion for others. I’ve been able to empathize with people who struggle and I always try to listen to them, because I know what it feels like to not be listened to. I think these experiences and lessons are pretty universal for people with speech disfluencies, and I think that would be a great thing to add to your paper! Best of luck :)
