Being a stutter, idk why but it always makes me feel awkward & down when someone says things like this "you got this , you can speak it out, you're doing fine" , while staring into my soul instead of patiently waiting for me to complete my sentence. I always feel like why people can't treat us like normal people. Just wait and be patient while we speak. Is it too hard? It just takes a few more secs or mins. So it's my perspective. I think you should have waited.
