I think finding a truly qualified speech therapist in stuttering is the most important to do right now. This soundsike it has all to do with how you react (automatic and unintentional) than it does with the stutter itself. I have a fairly severe stutter but I am able to live my life and live it well because of the help a good speech therapist gave me. Find one who knows how to address the real issues, not one who is going to work on getting you "fluent".
