When there’s no other word or phrase that can replace the “problem word”, then I pass. If the word is unavoidable, that’s when my stutter is worse. Such as my name, city, street. All of those I cannot work around, unless I simply skip the question. I learned in middle school that ONE DOES NOT EVER HAVE TO SPEAK if one does not wish. I didn’t do most verbal assignments in HS and still got all A’s. What are they gonna do? Are they gonna fail a person who can’t speak? No they won’t. College, I went to the disability center and got excused from all verbal assignments, even the dreaded around the room introduction/ice breakers. Real world, ummm good luck lol
