The biggest hurdle in life of stutterers are these stuttering problem once they conquer it everything will be easy in there life. I consider myself to be a high IQ person who is really smart and knows all the answers, the only thing that stops me from saying it out loud is this bitch but now I'm not stuttering much, it's just occasional. The main key to reduce stutter (you can only hide it, there is no cure for it) is to talk slowly, no one is in a rush, you just gotta think twice what you are going to tell and process what are all the words you are going to tell and speak then out slowly. If you think you are gonna stutter at some point act like you are thinking and add sounds like (hmm) Yes!! I know sometimes it backlashes at you, but it's better than struggling to speak. My grandpa used to stutter a lot, but he is very successful in life, but he never tried to hide or control his stuttering problem. He just stutter as if its nothing cause people back then were not very judging they just want there job done unlike nowadays. The way you are thinking now is very negative, this may destroy others hope, knowing you gave up in your life. I'm not in a age of giving you advise, I'm just 19, but i have hope that even though I stutter i can win it over or just control it. I can talk fluently with my friends and family but public speech troubles me. Stuttering is more like mental problem, cause you have been told by your parents that you stutter from your young age and that thought has its deep roots in your mind And you started thinking that you are a stutterer and you stutter. Just don't lose your hope there are many successful people who stutter (Joe Biden, Emily blunt, Samuel L Jackson, Ed Sheeran, Hrithik Roshan). And also if you are bad at communication you should focus more on written exams those will get you good jobs even though you have bad communication skills. You gotta top every exams, stutters are more smart than normal speakers.
