It does make sense and I agree mostly. We are describing “block” differently. I’m referring to the regular moments of fear where we know exactly what we want to say and instead, it feels like your throat has clamped down, breathing is stopped, you look sharply away, maybe have additional odd body movements, etc. I also don’t consider it any sort of problrm if sometime had repetitions that easily flow into the next sounds and there’s no associated emotions. I think we avoid eye contact bc we already feel shame even before trying to talk, and I think blocking occurs bc of shame. So, if we make eye contact, thrn we reduce the chance of shame and the hard silent fear-based blocks eventually go away.
