Most jobs i've had were of the customer facing sort, but i did have one desk/cubicle type job (of which the talking on the phone part was excruciating). I find that i can handle my stutter better when i'm face to face with someone, and in person. Job hunting during this pandemic era has been tedious for me, as a lot of them have resorted to doing interviews via video and or phone (my absolute kryptonites). Some even have you record your audio/video responses at certain segments as the interview progresses. Getting through the interview is the only part i'd really worry about. Be relaxed, calm, assertive and confident. Hopefully, you get the job. The anxiety and all the other baggage stuttering brings will ebb as you ease into the new gig. You'll relax more as you become familiar with the job. I'm always really tense the first week(s) into a new gig.
