Hi Eric! I’m also 23 and I stutter as well When I was younger I was so embarrassed of my speech and didn’t talk to a lot of strangers, however now that I work in costumer service I now talk to so many (usually upset) people! I used to think I would be successful if I “grew out” of my stutter, but recently I’ve started thinking about it differently. I’ve never received any bad reviews or comments, whereas my other coworkers that don’t stutter are rude as hell and get in trouble for it all the time. There is no reason why your stutter should be something that others look down on; it makes me who I am and being part of this community has helped tremendously, so welcome! I hope you’ll also find a great community here as well!
