I think I stutter less when I meet new people— which is odd because I stutter MORE with the people I know. I think it has to do more with the comfort of them knowing I stutter so I don’t need to try to seem perfect all the time. I’m a huge extrovert so meeting new people is always something I want to do and I’m actually good at small talk, but if a person asks me a question out of the blue and I don’t have time to rehearse and think about my response then it’s game over for me :/
