Late onset stutter Hello, I’m new to this community and have been reading a lot of your guys posts on stuttering. I am 20 years old and didn’t start stuttering until about 2 years ago when I was 18 and it just happened out of the blue. I had never had the problem as a kid growing up and always spoke fluently. When it first started happening, it was very rare and I didn’t think much of it but fast forward to today it’s gotten a lot worse and the blocks are so strong that it takes so much effort for me to talk and hold conversations. I’ve started to become very frustrated with this as I feel like a lot of people don’t take me seriously and I’ve been unable to communicate my ideas often. I have no idea what happened as I used to be such a fluent person and now I’m scared to talk and meet new people. Has anyone else had a stutter onset this late in their life as well? Thank you for your help and stay strong guys.
