Had my first job interview with a blockage. Do you think I got the job? I was applying for the new McDonalds near my house and was waiting like 20 minutes for the interviewer and this is how it went Interviewer: Nice to meet you whats your name? Me: “its nice to meet you too! my name is um,um,um,um,um,um… I um um have a um um um um um um speech um um um um… I have a um um um um a stutter”(realistically i think i said um for a minute straight trying to get my name out) Interviewer: its okay take your time Me: my name is um um um um ummm [name] Interviewer: ill just need toy to fill out this paper on the hours you’ll be available Me: *fills it out* Interviewer: Ill let them know and check for orientation day’s available and reach out in 24-48 hours. It was nice to meet you I then went on to go into my siblings car and speak fluently and say my full name 5 times to him in a rant about my stutter and how i hate that i stutter They never asked any questions on which position i’d be available or any scenario questions. What if they were just desperate but i end up in a position where Id have to talk a lot like cashier.
