I mean, I guess the most important thing for us stutterers is to realize that fluent speech isn't "_everything_". Not even those who have fluent speech are necessarily good at communicating, or have a "free time" speaking to anyone. That's the best thing I can tell you, perhaps? We need to try stuff out - and keep doing it over the years - otherwise, we just risk convincing ourselves that there's nothing more we can do with our lives. That's not a good place to be.
