In therapy, one technique I was shown was to ease in to a word while exhaling. The H sound seems almost made for that. In practice often times I'll drop the H in hello, or make it super faint, maybe change it to a light "Y" almost. It's interesting that I/We get l hung up on that one considering it's not a hard consonant. I'll also answer in a more enthusiastic manner. Not super pumped, but enough to try and reduce my level of concern/anxiety. This is what typically helps me most.
