I would go on it. She seems interested now so i think you should give it a go and not wait until things are "right". I also wouldnt put a lot of pressure on yourself to make jokes or be super charming. If there's a connection, you'll have plenty of chances for her to get to know that side of you. Plus you dont need to let it all out on the first date. She sounds like a nice girl.
