I've been in your shoes. One possible solution is to contact the company and work out a payment plan or a reduced amount due to special program. Don't give up! Take it from an old man, I'm 49 and had 20 years if speech therapy. I now have 80% fluency and I'm fine with that. I dont focus on my stutter at all, I focus on living. Once I made that mindset switch, my fluency improved. Reach out to organizations such as Stamily, CampSay, NSA (National Stuttering Association) etc. I dont know what country you are in but reach out. I also tried that ear device and it did not work for me. Everybody is different. Google "Stuttering" and find additional resources. NEVER GIVE UP! You are truly not alone.
