I dont get the downvotes on this post. >correlation might be between introversion and stuttering if talking is difficult people will talk less, talking less makes it harder to socialize, if socializing is hard people will socialize less, if a person socializes less they will be more comfortable in their own head, an introvert is someone who is comfortable in their own head (yes, yes, I know that is not *technically* the definition, but close enough) >Or more sensitivity to emotions and stuttering we tend to be concerned that our speech is causing others (and ourselves) discomfort so we become hyper aware of emotional states. > IMO, stuttering is caused by focusing too much on stuttering. while, personally, this is not a cause of stuttering, it often is a magnifier making it more pronounced.
