Placement So I am a 26F with a moderate stutter, I frequently repeat and prolong sounds and experience blocks quite regularly (even more so when under pressure or in a bad frame of mind). I have a teaching placement coming up next month and although I’ve developed a positive mindset when it comes to stuttering (such as accepting my stutter, educating and letting people know about it and disregarding people who show disrespect) I am also having moments of doubt. I plan on using assistive technology (DAF) and informing my mentor teacher and the children about it to help reduce pressure. Does anyone in this field or a field that requires a lot of verbal instruction have any advice or tips to get through this placement?
