Names for me are definitely the worst yeah. My manager's name is Andrew so I struggle with that. As well as substitute words I'd say the main thing I do is to say 2 words as if it was one word. For example I struggle with vowels (especially E). Whenever someone asks me what I studied at university it's impossible for me to just say 'Economics' so I have to say 'I.. studiedeconomics'. It doesn't sound weird and the fact it starts with an S makes it a lot easier for me! I try and do this for names too. Whenever I have to say Andrew to disturb him I say 'sorryAndrew' which works well. Other things I'd do is to just say 'erm' when I feel a block coming or even just pretend that I've lost my train of thought and laugh it off. I'd say that no one knows that I stutter which I like but it's still frustrating whenever you can't say something you want to. Good luck to you :)
