Exactly: \- you: "For me the fear comes from memories of bad experiences" \- me: " Why do you believe that you will stutter on a feared letter?" \- you: "Because I have stuttered on them previously" I meant to ask: "Why do you believe in a feared word, at all? If anticipation causes stuttering, then predicting a feared letter will make stuttering real in your mind. So: blaming stuttering on 'bad experiences', will associate feared words with stuttering." So: why would you actually believe in a feared letter to begin with? (why would you blame stutter experience that will only feed the monster)
