I feel ya. My speech therapy in elementary school was horrible. How it didn’t count as child abuse I’ll never know. I had good therapy later with someone who actually understands stuttering, but the resentment of earlier years is still there. I also used to stutter so forcefully and struggle so much because i thought that was preferable to stereotypical sounding stuttering. Therapy reinforced this view. But it was wrong.
