I’ve realised it’s harder for me to say the answer to something. For example if someone asks me “what’s your name?” I can say “my name is..” but then I can’t say my name. But I’ll have no problem saying “sorry I have a stutter” while I’m struggling to say my name. I literally looked like a clown once because these auntie with the same background as me asked me what my name was in my mother tongue. I had to keep saying “huh?” And pretending like I couldn’t hear her because I was struggling so bad to say my name to the point where she thought I was a washed up kid that didn’t know my mother tongue and she translated it to me in English. It gets so embarrassing at times
