I'm talking about **[peer-reviewed research](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peer_review)**, which is what makes theory proposals into acceptable theories. It's not just about any old "peers" reading it. ;) There's no theory to date that's explained stutter, but there's ongoing research.
