As long as I have a decent group, I usually don't have much problem. Though I sometimes feel at a loss when I wind up being the DM/GM. I was in a meetup group once where we would play a different one-shot in a different system every other week. The group's organizer was usually the GM for the games. I don't remember the context, but there was one time he asked me a question regarding my stutter. Now, I had never directly acknowledged it before. And I don't remember the question itself, just that it was definitely from a place of compassion. All that makes it important to me is that is the only person to ever bring up the subject before I ever did. And it just made me feel so good to know that someone can just recognize that I'm having difficulty, even when it's not always obvious, and that they care enough to address the difficulty and help out without forcing me to ask.
